smtp host was not specified

hello friends..

wen i was trying to send mail using smtp i got the error message like this "smtp host was not specified".

the same code will be working in localhost.but trying to send mail from server this error will be coming

help me..

Is this .net 1.1 or 2.0. Show me the code

If you are using .net 1.x checkhttp://www.systemwebmail.com

can you give more description on the error msg u r getting now? i never saw this error msg before.

just write a "test " page which contains only several lines code and can send an email, then run it in the web host. see if you can send an email successful within that page.
