SMTP Problem

I can't send e-mails. When i open the event viewer i get the following error :

The delivery of messages to the remote domain ' esoterica.pt ' failed for following reason:

Impossible to associate with the server of destination in the DNS.

Any help, please?

This means that there is no DNS entry for the SMTP server, so the system can't find it. You can specify the server by IP, or make sure the web server can resolve the SMTP server's name through your DNS.

I think it's a IIS (SMTP) problem (windows 2000 server). I installed other smtp program (in this case the free smtp server) and my webpage runs fine. I contacted my internet provider and they told me to increase the timeout. How can i do that?
