SNMP Queries

Hello,

I need to make an application that can poll a server using SNMP to find out various things such as the BIOS revision.

Is there a way that I can create an ASP.NET application that is able to read the different aspects such as the BIOS revision? I've been searching the Internet for ideas but I'm unsure how to accomplish this.

You'll need an SNMP component, might look at:

http://www.asp.net/ControlGallery/ControlDetail.aspx?Control=1392&tabindex=2

Though I'm not sure the system BIOS revision will be somehting you can pull, it would depend on the system I guess.
